Regional Sales Engineer                                                                             

Denton Vacuum is looking for an aggressive sales/applications engineer to help take us to the next level of growth.  Candidate must have a good blend of technical expertise and customer friendliness.

This position will report directly in to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will be directly responsible for growing the customer base and the revenue within that territory.

• Manage multiple Rep organizations in a specific region to:
• Acquire and qualify sales leads
• Follow up on all leads
• Drive and Close sales
• Travel for customer presentations and rep support
• Achieve budgeted sales and growth targets
• Prepare detailed technical quotations for customers
• Project manage large projects from cradle to grave in conjunction with Engineering
• First responder to any customer issues
• Liaison between customers and engineering department
• Attend trade shows in specific region as required.
• Work with Mar-Comm team to update sales literature as needed

• Familiarity with Sales Cycle of large capital equipment
• Familiarity with Thin Film Vacuum Deposition Processes
• Experience in working with or managing Manufacturer’s Reps
• Willing to travel ~ 50%

KNOWLEDGE/TRAINING

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and restraints
• Demonstrated ability to close
