Denton Vacuum, LLC is pleased to announce the ability to supply ultra high vacuum configurations for the Discovery® and Explorer® system platforms (sputtering and/or evaporation)
capable of achieving base vacuum levels < 1.0 x 10-10 torr. These system configurations dramatically enhance Denton Vacuum’s ability to support leading edge R&D. Pictured is a system configured for e-beam deposition onto substrates that are either cryogenically cooled or heated to 400 °C. Dr. Pan Feng of Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) will be using this system to support his research activities in magnetic multi-layers.
