Denton Announces New Vice President of Engineering

Moorestown, NJ — Denton Vacuum, LLC, a leading supplier of research and production scale thin film technology systems, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Victor Ku, Ph. D, who has joined the Denton Vacuum team serving as Vice President of Engineering. Based in Denton Vacuum headquarters in Moorestown, NJ, Dr. Ku reports to Frank Cumbo, President & CEO of Denton Vacuum.
Dr. Ku’ responsibilities will include platform engineering, process and engineering support for revenue projects and product development, as well as developing technical collateral in support of commercial activities, monitoring new technologies and assessing their potential to become new products or services.
Dr. Ku comes to Denton with over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of semiconductor technology companies including 8 years at IBM Hopewell Junction, a global manufacturer advanced semiconductor, GT Advanced Technology, FLIR and ASM. Victor most recently served as Vice President of R&D, Engineering & Product Development for Electronics for Imaging, a world-wide leader in designing & manufacturing industrial scale digital inkjet printers (capital equipment).
Dr. Ku received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Oxford, England. His focus was on plasma ion source. Dr. Ku holds tens of product patents.
