Welcome to the Denton Vacuum Applications Laboratory
Denton Vacuum has hit a milestone with the Customer Application Development Center, the Apps Lab, as we pass the 10-year mark. The CADC empowers innovation by producing state-of-the-art sputtered, etch, and evaporated thin films and evaluating machine performances with our cutting-edge tools.
In the CADC, Denton has three full-time dedicated engineers focused on application development and customer demos. The large suite of tools holds many deposition and etch systems including Infinity FA, Integrity, PIB-CVD, Z-Flex Ion Beam Deposition and Etch, Discovery 300, Voyager PE-CVD, and associated metrology.
What’s New in the CADC?
Denton Vacuum is always researching ways to expand our capabilities. In the CADC, we have a safe and focused space to do so. We take the time to dive deeper into our current technologies such as sputter, etch, evaporation, and PE-CVD. But what new areas have we started working on?
We have added wafer ion beam etch and ion beam deposition, an Infinity FA for semiconductor chip failure analysis, and a PIB-CVD system. We have also added a scanning electron microscope to better support application development. These additions enable us to work more efficiently and offer customers the latest technology.
